Urban Thinkers Campus (UTC)
The Urban Thinkers Campus is an initiative of the World Urban Campaign (WUC) of the UN Settlement Programme (UN-Habitat). The aim of UN-Habitat is to promote sustainable development in cities. The Urban Thinkers Campus (UTC) serves as an open space for innovative exchange between urban actors and local and international experts and provides important input for the further development of society on a global level. The conferences deal with current and future challenges of urban life and develop solution models that can be transferred globally to cities with their specific strengths and weaknesses. To date, Mannheim is the only German city to have organized this innovative format.
